In the organization of the Geological Survey of Italy, on 25th and 26th of May, the Institute for the Protection and Environmental Research of Italy (ISPRA) in Rome, the first meeting EMODNET-Geology Adriatic Group was held. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Geological Surveys of Adriatic countries: Slovenia, Croatia, Albania and Montenegro.
The aim of the meeting was to harmonize geological data within the work packages of the project EMODNET-Geology and consider the possibility of further comprehensive cooperation and ways of forming geological research networks and including other institutions that may be involved in marine geological research of the Adriatic.
